Q Cells cracks efficiency records

Q-Cells, the cell supplier to Tindo Solar panels as used in Sydney, have announced some recent module efficiency breakthroughs. NSW Solar PV Bonus Scheme Review – 20c is new baseline

Upon reaching 50MW installed capacity, the NSW Government has reduced the successful 60c solar feed-in tariff to 20c, as a result of unexpected demand. Spark Solar announces new patent applications

New Spark patents pending Spark now has a total of three patents pending that relate specifically to module design. The new work targets three different areas: form, function and safety. ‘Form’ relates to a more aesthetic module design, ‘safety’ to the safety, particularly of roof-top PV systems and ‘function’ is about a higher power output over the life of the system.
