Solarworld releases 30yr warranty on Glass-Glass Modules
SolarWorld, Germany’s largest solar panel producer by volume and the largest U.S. solar manufacturer for more than 35 years, has released some ground breaking new glass-glass modules.
Whilst glass-glass modules have been done before (such as by Schott), in previous cases the modules have been either twice the weight of traditional PV modules OR have been difficult to handle frameless laminates.
Solarworld has not only released a market leading 30 year power-performance guarantee for its Sunmodule Protect glass-glass PV panels, but also kept the weight of the SunModule Protect series at the same level as standard glass-film modules.
