Geothermal energy is an interesting form of heating and cooling, that is of special interest to people currently building new homes. It is one of the four main renewable energy sources: wind, micro-hydro, solar, and geothermal.

The technology can be used directly to provide heated steam to a generator, or can be used indirectly as a ‘sink’ for heat pump systems.

In homes, it is most common to use it as a sink for a geothermal ground source heat pump.

Greenforce Energy doesn’t directly managed Geothermal projects, but we recommend you see the Geothermal Information page at SmartHeat.
